DANVILLE, Va. (AP) -- Danville officials are ramping up efforts to recruit Chinese companies to the city.
The city has hired international business consulting firm Blue Water Growth to help the recruitment efforts.
The Danville Register & Bee (http://bit.ly/1b0uvgt ) reports that David Iwinski Jr. and Josh Beck with Blue Water Growth met with members of the Regional Industrial Facility Authority on Monday.
City manager Joe King said that Chinese companies are growing and looking for new ways to expand.
