LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) -- The man accused of killing his grandparents in their Campbell County home in February has been indicted on four counts of capital murder.
The News & Advance reports (http://bit.ly/15KO1GV ) that a grand jury indicted 27-year-old Robert Lee Philbrook on Monday. He's accused of killing 73-year-old John Philbrook and 72-year-old Virginia Philbrook, who were found dead in their home after neighbors called deputies to check on their welfare. Both victims had been shot.
The indictment includes two counts of capital murder during commission of a robbery, and one capital count apiece for killing more than one person within a year and killing more than one person as part of the same transaction. Philbrook also faces six robbery and firearms counts.
