Mother: Man grabbed sleeping daughter in Woodbridge bedroom

WASHINGTON – Prince William County police are looking for a suspect who reportedly grabbed a 12-year-old girl while she was asleep in a Woodbridge, Va., home.

A woman told police that her daughter was asleep in a bedroom when she awoke to a man grabbing her through an open window. When the girl screamed, the man left the scene on foot.

Police responded to the home, in the 1400 block of Horner Road, shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Police say no property was taken and no one was injured.

Police used a K-9 to search the area for the suspect. The girl was unable to provide a description other than the suspect was a black male.
