NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Norfolk police say a man who drowned in the Lafayette River was wanted in connection with a murder.
The Virginian-Pilot reports (http://bit.ly/1e8jxVV ) that the body of 44-year-old Jeffrey Watkins was found in the river early Sunday morning. Police say he was wanted in connection with the slaying of Shadosha Johnson, who was found dead inside a house Saturday morning. Her death is considered the result of a domestic dispute.
