Va. man gets 11 years for drug convictions

Thursday - 8/8/2013, 7:20am  ET

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A Petersburg man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for possession and trafficking of cocaine and methamphetamine.

U.S. Attorney Neil H. MacBride says Torry Little pleaded guilty in May after he sold cocaine to a confidential informant on two separate occasions. A search of Little's residence later turned up 39 grams of what the government called an unusually high-purity form of meth, cocaine, cash and a handgun.

Little was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Richmond.
