NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Twenty seriously wounded, ill and injured sailors and Coast Guards members are wrapping up a recreational adaptive sports camp.
The camp was held Thursday through Saturday at the Waterfront Athletic Complex at Naval Station Norfolk. It was hosted by the Navy's wounded warrior support program.
It's the second such camp to be held at the naval station. The first event was held in February.
Among the new sports added this time were adaptive lacrosse, racquetball and tennis.
