WASHINGTON – There are delays on Metro’s Blue and Yellow Lines Monday morning.

The lines are experiencing 35-minute delays because trains are running on a single track between Braddock Road and Pentagon City.

Shortly before 5 a.m., hydraulic fluid leaked onto the tracks at National Airport creating slippery conditions for the trains.

Metro is working to clean up the fluid but there are delays in both directions.
