PETERSBURG, Va. - The Army is celebrating the grand opening of a new 1,000-room lodging center at Fort Lee.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Petersburg base.
Fort Lee says the lodging center is the largest Army lodging facility in the continental U.S.
The lodging center began receiving guests in January, primarily students at the Army's Logistics University.
