RICHMOND, Va. - The Virginia Historical Society is seeking memorabilia from the movie "Lincoln."
The society plans to hold a "Lincoln" memorabilia collection drive during the first public screening of a behind-the-scenes documentary about the movie on Feb. 9. "The Making of Lincoln" is one of five films that make up Virginia Commonwealth University's 2013 Southern Film Festival.
Andrew Talkov with the historical society says a large crowd is expected because many people in central Virginia were involved with the movie or have connections to it. He says the historical society hopes to get some interesting movie-related items for its collection.
The documentary screening is free.
