APPOMATTOX, Va. (AP) - State regulators are seeking public input on a company's proposal to apply biosolids to more than 5,500 acres in Appomattox County.
Synagro Central LLC is seeking a state permit to apply biosolids on 184 fields owned by various parties.
The public comment period begins Monday and runs through Dec. 26.
The State Water Control Board has scheduled a public meeting for 5 p.m. Monday at the Appomattox Community Center in Appomattox.
