RICHMOND, Va. - P.H. Glatfelter Co. is donating more than 100,000 pine seedlings for private reforestation projects in Virginia.
Private non-industrial landowners in 25 counties can obtain up 10,000 seedlings each for reforestation projects under a cost-share program.
The Virginia Department of Forestry says private reforestation projects in Amherst, Buckingham, Caroline, Clarke, Culpeper, Cumberland, Fairfax, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Frederick, Greene, King George, Loudoun, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, Page, Prince William, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Warren counties are eligible for the program.
Landowners can contact the local Department of Forestry office for more information.
York, Pa-based Glatfelter owns and manages 10,000 acres of forestland in Virginia.
