DANVILLE, Va. - Danville is hosting a national conference on the relationship between broadband and economic development.
Broadband Communities Magazine is the organizer of the two-day conference, which begins Thursday.
Magazine CEO Scott DeGarmo tells the Danville Register & Bee ( http://bit.ly/VHi2Xq) that Danville was chosen because it's been developing a successful fiber network.
Seminar topics include financing, telemedicine and economic development successes.
The Danville event is the first of a series of conferences planned by the magazine.
