WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) - The Anheuser-Busch brewery in Williamsburg is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a visit from the famous Budweiser Clydesdales.
Officials say an eight-horse traveling hitch will visit the brewery on Thursday afternoon and make "old fashion beer deliveries."
The brewery opened in 1972 and produces more than 40 brands, including Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob and Shock Top.
The 144-acre facility ships about 250 trucks each day, serving Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Washington, D.C., and some overseas markets.
