NORFOLK, Va. - A jury has convicted two men in a fatal shooting at a Portsmouth jewelry store.
Prosecutors say 21-year-old Kevin Stevens Jr. and 20-year-old Xavier Holley of Portsmouth were convicted Friday in federal court in Norfolk.
Fifty-one-year-old Robert V. Nelson was found dead inside the Gold Shop in October 2010.
Stevens and Holley were convicted of two counts each of attempted robbery and one count each of conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery, use of a firearm during a crime of violence, and use of a firearm causing Nelson's death.
They face up to life in prison. Sentencing is set for Oct. 23.
In February, 21-year-old Montarius N. Murry was sentenced to 43 years for his role in the shooting.
