Wakefield High grads busted for drinking on school roof

ARLINGTON, Va. – Seven recent graduates from Wakefield High School in Arlington were arrested Friday after they were caught drinking on the roof of the school.

Police were called to the school just after 5 a.m. after someone in maintenance spotted the group.

The teens, who graduated Wednesday, reached the roof by climbing up a pole. Police say they were drinking Coronas.

All of the teens were charged with trespassing, and four in the group that are at least 18 also were charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

A break-in and vandalism at the school last week do not appear to be related.
