International Horse Show kicks off in D.C.

WASHINGTON — The 2014 Washington International Horse Show kicks off October 26 with six days of sports and entertainment at the Verizon Center.

For one week each year, top horses and riders from around the world compete at the country’s world renowned indoor horse show.

Now in its 56th annual event, the horse show offers family-friendly community events. October 25 was Kids’ Day. Check out a few photos from the event.
