2nd victim dies in D.C. triple shooting

WASHINGTON (AP) — District of Columbia police say they have arrested a suspect in a triple shooting on North Capitol Street that has left two people dead.

Police say one juvenile and two adults were found shot early Sunday morning in a vehicle at North Capitol and T streets. Police say 21-year-old Donchell Thomas of Montgomery Village, Maryland, died later at a hospital. Police issued a news release late Sunday that says 20-year-old Derek Price of District Heights, Maryland, was pronounced dead Sunday evening.

The third victim’s condition was not released Sunday.

On Sunday afternoon, police announced the arrest of 36-year-old Jimmie Fleming of Washington. He has been charged with first-degree murder while armed and assault with intent to kill.
