Time-lapse video of Capital Wheel construction (Video)

WASHINGTON — National Harbor’s Capital Wheel opened Friday, ready to give tourists and residents alike an opportunity to see sites across the region, including the White House and Capitol, from over the Potomac Waterfront. Now that it’s launched, EarthCam has released a time-lapse video of the wheel’s construction.

In just a minute and a half, the video shows three months of construction, ending in a big finale.

Earlier in May, EarthCam also released a time-lapse video of the Washington Monument’s repairs. Check that out here.
