Jamba Juice has big plans to expand in the D.C. market. The Washington Post reports the California-based juicer wants to add at least 10 new stores in the market in the next three years.
Prompting the growth of Jamba Juice is a growing demand for fresh fruit and vegetable juices. That includes in the D.C. region.
“The D.C. area is one of our most critical growth areas for Jamba Juice,” James D. White, the company’s chief executive and president, told The Post. “If you think about the number of folks cycling, jogging, walking around town, it’s really a great fit.”
