WASHINGTON - In honor of the Seahawks' Super Bowl victory, we'd like to introduce you to the team's canine namesake.

Seahawk's mother was a purebred border collie, and papa was well, let's just say papa was a rolling stone.

This darling 12-week-old pup and his littermates are celebrities in their own right, with avid fans worldwide watching their antics on Animal Planet's Puppy Cam.

Now they're ready for homes of their own. So if you're looking for a canine companion with athletic tendencies, stop by the Washington Animal Rescue League and meet Seahawk.

About WARL: Founded in 1914, the Washington Animal Rescue League is the oldest animal shelter in Washington D.C. Its mission includes rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for animals who have no where else to go. The League also supports animals through affordable veterinary care, community outreach and education. Learn more about the Washington Animal Rescue League at www.warl.org.

Check out our pets in 2013 and see where they are now.
