WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metropolitan police say a man injured in a brawl at an Adams Morgan nightclub has died of his injuries.
Police say 45-year-old Rockwell John Flint died Friday at a hospital where he was taken after the Aug. 30 brawl. Authorities say the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled cause of death was multiple blunt impact injuries and the manner of death was homicide.
Police say the first broke out in the Rendezvous Lounge and Flint was one of two men who were injured when they tumbled down a staircase inside the bar. A man was charged with assault.
Police Chief Cathy Lanier ordered the bar closed for four days. The district's Alcoholic Beverage Control Board permitted it to reopen.
