WASHINGTON (AP) -- A race is being held in southwest Washington, but humans aren't the ones running.
The second annual Running of the Chihuahuas is being held Saturday at Kastles Stadium, a tennis stadium on the waterfront in southwest Washington. All dogs racing have to be a Chihuahua or Chihuahua mix. The grand champion will take away a trophy and $150.
The event benefits Paws of Southwest, a nonprofit community organization that wants to build a dog park in southwest Washington.
