Car crashes into D.C. bus stop, injuring 3 people

WASHINGTON – Three people have been injured after a car crashed into a bus stop in northeast D.C.

Police say it happened just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at a bus stop along Sheriff Road.

The driver remained on the scene, and three people at the bus stop were taken to the hospital with injuries.

The collision remains under investigation.
