Metro to stay open late for Redskins game

WASHINGTON — Metro will stay open an hour later for fans attending the Washington Redskins game Monday night at FedEx Field.

During the extra hour of service, riders will be able to enter the system at Morgan Boulevard and the Largo Town Center stations. All other stations will close at their regularly scheduled times but riders will be able to exit at any station.

Orange Line riders will have to travel to either East Falls Church or Stadium Armory and then transfer to the Orange Line to continue to the far eastern or western stops.

Last trains to depart Largo Town Center:

  • Silver Line to Wiehle-Reston: 12:11 a.m.
  • Blue Line to Franconia-Springfield 12:24 a.m.

Last trains to depart Morgan Bouelvard:

  • Silver Line to Wiehle-Reston: 12:14 a.m.
  • Blue Line to Franconia-Springfield 12:27 a.m.
  • Blue Line to Largo Town Center 12:32 a.m.

The Redskins face the Dallas Cowboys and the game will be broadcast on ESPN at 8:30 p.m.
