WASHINGTON - D.C. police have released a surveillance video linked to a Thanksgiving weekend break-in at a Capitol Hill elementary school, which has had a dozen computers stolen in recent months.

The video shows someone wearing a hood carrying what appears to be a laptop and roaming the halls of Brent Elementary.

Police are calling the individual a "person of interest" and asking for the public's assistance in helping to identify people in connection with the Nov. 23 burglary.

Authorities believe five people entered the school last Friday and carried off several iMac computers.

The break-in follows another that occurred in October.

A total of 12 computers have been stolen from the school, which is located a few blocks from the Capitol.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099, or text the text tip line at 50411.
