2 Georgetown students assaulted during burglary

WASHINGTON (AP) - Two Georgetown University students say they have been assaulted while their home was burglarized overnight.
District of Columbia police are investigating the incident on O Street in Georgetown. The students say they found a male intruder in their home shortly before 4 a.m. They say the man struck them before fleeing toward Georgetown's campus.
The students sustained minor injuries.
The university's Department of Public Safety sent an alert e-mail to the campus community at 9:45 a.m., notifying people of the burglary.
