COLLIERSTOWN, Va. - The Virginia Department of Forestry says wildfires that broke out in April in Rockbridge County appear to be arsons.
A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
The fires occurred in the Collierstown area on April 13. They burned on private property and in the George Washington National Forest.
Another suspicious fire began on April 9 on the Rockbridge-Alleghany county line and burned in the Rich Hole Wilderness.
