RICHMOND, Va. - Visitors at Virginia's state parks won't have to pay parking fees on Veterans Day.
The fees are being waived at all 35 state parks for everyone to honor veterans, active military members and their families.
Gov. Bob McDonnell says a daily parking fee waiver for veterans, active duty military and their families will continue through the end of the year. This waiver is part of the state parks' 75th anniversary celebration.
